If you’ve started searching for non-invasive body sculpting in Melbourne, you’ve probably noticed the options multiplying fast. Some use heat. Some use cold. Some use electromagnetic pulses. Some are described with so much clinical language you need a glossary just to read the treatment page. It’s a lot.
At Bayside Endermologie in Beaumaris, we offer two treatments in this space — LPG Endermologie and TESLAFormer — and the questions Kristina gets most often aren’t “does it work?” They’re: “Which one is actually for me?” and “What am I realistically going to see?”
This post answers both. Honestly.
What “non-invasive body sculpting” actually means
The term gets applied to a wide range of treatments, which makes it almost meaningless on its own. What it reliably means is this: no surgery, no injections, no anaesthesia, no recovery time. You come in, you have the treatment, you go about your day.
What it doesn’t mean — and this matters — is that you’ll walk out looking different after one session. Non-invasive treatments work cumulatively. The body needs time to respond. Results build over a course of sessions, and they depend heavily on individual factors: your starting point, your lifestyle, how consistently you attend, how your body responds. Anyone telling you otherwise is overselling it.
The two treatments we offer target different things. LPG Endermologie works at the level of the skin and connective tissue. TESLAFormer works at the level of the muscle. Understanding that distinction is what helps you choose — or decide you want both.
LPG Endermologie — skin quality, cellulite, and the lymphatic system
LPG Endermologie is a mechanical massage treatment developed in France. A motorised handpiece with rolling heads and suction works across the body, stimulating the skin and the connective tissue just beneath it. You wear a thin full-body treatment suit throughout. Sessions run for 50 minutes.
The mechanism is mechanical — there’s no heat, no electrical current, no needles. The rolling suction action is designed to stimulate the fibroblasts in the skin, which are the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production. It also works on the fibrous bands that create the dimpled appearance of cellulite by pulling on the skin’s surface. And it supports lymphatic circulation, which affects fluid retention and how “puffy” an area looks and feels.
What do clients at our Beaumaris clinic typically notice? Smoother skin texture. A reduction in the visible appearance of cellulite. Improved body contour, particularly in areas like the thighs, abdomen, and arms. A general sense that their skin feels more toned — not from muscle, but from the tissue itself.
LPG Endermologie is not a weight-loss treatment. It won’t change the number on your scale. What it targets is the quality of the skin and the tissue beneath it — and that’s a different thing from body composition. For people who have noticed that diet and exercise have done what they can but certain areas still look or feel soft and uneven, that distinction tends to land.
Most clients work through an initial course of sessions before moving to maintenance — the exact number varies depending on individual goals and how the body responds, so Kristina discusses this during your consultation rather than applying a fixed number to everyone.
TESLAFormer — muscle tone and definition
TESLAFormer uses Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) — a pulsed electromagnetic field — to cause deep, involuntary muscle contractions. These are contractions that go well beyond what voluntary effort in the gym produces. You’re lying fully clothed on a treatment bed while the device works the muscles beneath your skin. Sessions run for 30 minutes. No effort required on your part.
The target is muscle tissue, not skin. TESLAFormer is designed to increase muscle density and improve tone in specific areas — the abdomen, glutes, thighs, and arms are the most commonly treated. The contractions stimulate muscle fibres in a way that’s similar in principle to resistance training, but the depth and intensity of the stimulus is different from what most people can generate voluntarily.
Like LPG, this is not a weight-loss treatment. TESLAFormer won’t reduce body fat on its own. What clients often report is improved definition and tone — that their muscles feel and look firmer, and that areas they’d struggled to activate effectively in their regular training respond better. Some also use it for functional reasons: supporting core strength, or addressing muscle groups that have weakened over time.
Results are cumulative. A course of sessions is typically needed before visible changes become consistent, and individual response varies. Kristina will be direct with you about what’s realistic for your specific situation during your consultation.
Which treatment is right for me?
The short answer: it depends on what’s actually bothering you.
If your concern is skin quality — cellulite, uneven texture, areas that look or feel soft regardless of how much you exercise — LPG Endermologie is the one to look at. It works at the tissue level. It addresses the structural reasons skin looks the way it does.
If your concern is muscle tone and definition — you want firmer, more defined muscles in specific areas, or you’re looking to support strength that’s been harder to maintain — TESLAFormer is the one to look at. It works at the muscle level.
If both of those sound relevant — if you have both skin quality concerns and muscle tone goals — many of our clients do both, either in the same session window or as a combined programme. The treatments work on different tissue types, so there’s no conflict between them.
A few questions that help narrow it down:
- Is the issue the skin’s surface — texture, dimpling, how it looks when you pinch it? LPG Endermologie.
- Is the issue that you want more visible muscle definition, or you want to feel stronger in a specific area? TESLAFormer.
- Have you hit a plateau with exercise and diet — doing everything right but not seeing the skin or muscle result you expected? Either treatment may be relevant, depending on which plateau you’ve hit.
- Are you recovering from a period of inactivity and want to rebuild strength without intense exercise? TESLAFormer may be a useful starting point.
What we don’t do is apply a standard programme to everyone. Kristina takes the time to understand what you’re actually trying to address before recommending anything. That conversation happens during your initial consultation, which is free and runs for 15 minutes.
What to realistically expect
This is the part that doesn’t always make it into the marketing.
Neither treatment produces overnight results. Both require a course of sessions. The body’s response to mechanical stimulation and to electromagnetic muscle contractions is gradual — and individual. Two people with similar goals can have noticeably different timelines and outcomes depending on factors neither of us controls: age, hormones, baseline muscle mass, connective tissue density, lifestyle habits between sessions.
What clients at Bayside Endermologie consistently report is that results become more noticeable from around the midpoint of a course onward. The first few sessions often feel like not much is happening visually — and then things start to accumulate. This is normal. It’s the nature of how both treatments work.
Maintenance matters too. The results of both treatments are best sustained with regular follow-up sessions once the initial course is complete. How often that is varies by person. Kristina will give you an honest picture of what ongoing commitment looks like for your specific programme — there’s no pressure to sign up for more than you need.
Results vary depending on individual factors including starting point, lifestyle, and consistency of attendance. That’s not a disclaimer thrown in at the end — it’s genuinely how these treatments work, and it’s why the consultation conversation matters so much.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between LPG Endermologie and TESLAFormer?
LPG Endermologie works on the skin and connective tissue — targeting cellulite, skin quality, lymphatic circulation, and body contouring by mechanically stimulating the layers beneath the skin. TESLAFormer works on the muscle layer, using electromagnetic energy to cause deep involuntary contractions that improve muscle tone and definition. They address different tissues, which is why many clients at Bayside benefit from combining both.
How many treatments do I need to see results?
It depends on the treatment and the person. With LPG Endermologie, most clients start noticing changes in skin texture and body contour from around session 6–8, with full results visible after a complete course of 10–15 sessions. TESLAFormer typically produces visible tone improvement over a course of 6–10 sessions. Kristina will give you a realistic timeline at your consultation based on your specific goals.
Can I combine LPG Endermologie and TESLAFormer?
Yes — and for many clients, combining both treatments produces better results than either alone. LPG addresses skin quality and connective tissue while TESLAFormer addresses muscle tone, so together they cover the full picture of body composition change. Kristina plans treatment sequences individually.
Are non-invasive body sculpting results permanent?
Results are not permanent in the way surgical procedures can be, but they are real and lasting when maintained. LPG Endermologie results are typically maintained with periodic sessions once the initial course is complete. Lifestyle factors — particularly activity level and hydration — play a significant role in how long results last.
Why Bayside Endermologie
Kristina has been working in non-invasive body treatments since 2017. The clinic is in Beaumaris — Level 1, 42 East Concourse — and it sees clients by appointment, Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm and Saturday from 7am to 12pm.
The approach here isn’t to sell you a package and fill your schedule. It’s to understand what you’re actually trying to address and be honest about what can help. If LPG Endermologie is the right fit, Kristina will tell you. If TESLAFormer makes more sense, she’ll tell you that. If neither treatment is the right answer for what you’re describing, she’ll tell you that too.
This space is open to everyone — women, men, and all genders. The treatments are clinically backed and individually tailored. There’s no standard programme applied to everyone who walks in.
If you’re based in Beaumaris, Bayside, or anywhere across Melbourne and you want to understand your options before committing to anything, the best next step is a conversation.
