There is a moment a lot of people reach — looking in the mirror and noticing that something has shifted. Not dramatically. Not overnight. But the jaw is less defined. The skin around the neck is a little looser. The brow sits lower than it used to. It is a gradual thing, and most people are not looking for surgery. They are looking for something that works without the recovery, the risk, or the commitment that surgery demands.
Ultraformer MPT is built for exactly that moment. It uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate your skin’s own collagen production, working at the same tissue depth that surgeons target in a surgical facelift — without any incisions, needles, or downtime. At our Beaumaris clinic, it is one of the most requested treatments we offer, and the reason is straightforward: the results are real, and the process is honest.
What Is Ultraformer MPT?
Ultraformer MPT is a medical-grade device that delivers High Intensity Focused Ultrasound — HIFU — to precise depths in the skin and underlying tissue. The “MPT” stands for Multi Point Technology, which refers to how it delivers energy: in a rapid series of micro-focused points across the treatment area, rather than a single continuous beam. This makes the treatment faster than earlier HIFU systems and allows for more precise targeting across different tissue depths.
The device uses interchangeable cartridges, each designed to deliver energy at a specific depth: 1.5mm, 3mm, and 4.5mm. Each depth corresponds to a different layer of tissue. The 1.5mm cartridge targets the superficial dermis — helpful for fine lines and surface texture. The 3mm cartridge reaches the deeper dermis, where collagen fibres are denser. The 4.5mm cartridge works at the level of the SMAS — the superficial musculoaponeurotic system — a layer of connective tissue and muscle that surgeons lift and tighten during a traditional facelift.
Treating at that 4.5mm depth is what separates HIFU technology from most other non-invasive skin treatments. Most devices work at the surface. Ultraformer MPT works deeper, and that depth is where meaningful lifting originates.
How HIFU Technology Works
When focused ultrasound energy reaches its target depth, it creates tiny thermal coagulation points — precise areas of controlled heat — in the tissue. These points are small enough that surrounding tissue is unaffected, but the localised heat is enough to trigger a wound-healing response in the body.
That response is what produces the results. The body interprets the thermal points as micro-injury and responds by producing new collagen to repair the area. Collagen is the structural protein that gives skin its firmness and elasticity. As we age, collagen production slows and existing collagen degrades — which is why skin loses definition and begins to sag. Ultraformer MPT prompts the body to rebuild it from within.
The process takes time. This is not an immediate fix in the way that filler or surgery produces visible change on the day. Some clients notice an initial lift within the first few weeks as the tissue responds, but the full collagen remodelling cycle takes two to three months. Most clients see their peak results between three and six months after treatment. The results then continue to develop gradually — which is one of the things clients appreciate most. It does not look like a procedure. It looks like you.
What a Session Involves
A session at our clinic begins with a skin assessment. Kristina maps the treatment areas based on your specific concerns — whether that is the jawline, jowls, neck, brow, décolletage, or a combination — and selects the appropriate cartridges for each zone. There is no one-size approach here. The cartridge selection and the number of passes over each area are individualised.
The handpiece is moved across the skin in a systematic pattern. As it delivers energy, most clients feel warmth and a sensation of pressure — occasionally more noticeable in bony areas like the cheekbones or jaw. The level of sensation varies between people and between treatment zones. Sessions run approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on the areas being treated.
After treatment, some clients notice mild redness or a feeling of warmth in the skin, which typically settles within a few hours. There is no structured downtime — most clients return to their usual day immediately. Makeup can be applied the same day if needed.
The Deep Synergy Booster infusion — a blend of seven hyaluronic acids and ten multi-peptides — is available as an add-on for clients who want additional hydration and collagen-support benefits alongside the HIFU treatment.
Results: What to Expect and When
Honest expectations are important here, and Kristina is direct about this with every client she sees.
Ultraformer MPT is not a surgical facelift. For someone with significant laxity who would benefit from surgery, it will not replicate those results. What it does deliver — for the right candidate — is a meaningful improvement in skin firmness and definition that builds gradually and looks natural.
Many clients notice initial tightening within two to four weeks. The clearest results typically appear between three and six months as collagen continues to remodel. A single treatment can produce results that last 12 to 18 months for many clients. Some choose a maintenance session annually to sustain the outcome over time.
As with any treatment, results vary depending on factors such as skin condition, age, lifestyle, and consistency of sessions. Clients who are younger, with earlier-stage laxity, and who support their skin with good sun protection and hydration tend to see the strongest outcomes.
Treatment Areas
Ultraformer MPT is used across a wide range of areas on the face and body. At our Beaumaris clinic, the most common concerns we address include:
- Jawline definition and jowl lifting
- Neck laxity and banding
- Brow heaviness and drooping
- Chin and under-chin fullness
- Décolletage crepiness and lines
- Cheek and mid-face volume loss
- Body areas including the inner arms and abdomen
The ability to treat multiple depths in a single session means Kristina can address more than one concern at a time, tailoring each pass to the specific tissue layer that will deliver the most benefit for that area.
Who It Suits
Ultraformer MPT works well for people who are beginning to notice changes in skin firmness and definition and want to address them before those changes become more pronounced. It is also a strong option for clients who have had surgery in the past and want to maintain their results without returning to the operating table.
This space is open to everyone. Clients at our clinic are women, men, and all genders — from their mid-thirties through to their seventies. The right candidate is someone with mild to moderate skin laxity who is looking for a non-invasive approach, has realistic expectations about the timeline and the degree of change, and understands that the results are gradual by design.
Ultraformer MPT is not the right fit for everyone. People with very significant laxity may find that the results are more subtle than they are hoping for, and in those cases Kristina will say so clearly during the consultation. The goal is always to find the treatment that is right for you — not to sell a session.
It is not recommended for people who are pregnant, have active skin conditions in the treatment area, certain implanted devices, or open wounds. A consultation covers all of this before any treatment begins.
How It Fits With Other Treatments
Ultraformer MPT works well alongside other treatments in our clinic. Many clients combine it with LPG Endermologie for overall skin tone and circulation support, or with TESLAFormer for body contouring and muscle toning in parallel. Kristina designs treatment plans that reflect what each client actually needs, not a menu of add-ons.
The sequence and spacing of treatments matters. Kristina will walk through the recommended approach during your consultation, including how to time sessions for the best collagen response.
Why Bayside Endermologie
Kristina has been working with non-invasive body and skin treatments since 2017. Her approach has always been the same: understand the person in front of her, be honest about what a treatment will and will not do, and build a plan that makes sense for where that person is right now — not a plan that sounds impressive on paper.
With Ultraformer MPT, that honesty matters more than usual. It is a technology with real clinical backing, and it delivers meaningful results for the right candidates. But it is also a treatment that is frequently oversold, with before-and-after images that do not reflect what most people will experience. We do not do that here.
What you will get is a thorough consultation, a clear explanation of what to expect and when, and a treatment delivered with care and precision. If Ultraformer MPT is not the right choice for you, Kristina will tell you — and point you toward what is.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ultraformer MPT the same as Ultherapy?
They use the same underlying technology — HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) — but are different devices from different manufacturers. Ultraformer MPT is a South Korean-developed system that delivers HIFU at multiple depths with variable cartridges, allowing more precise targeting of different tissue layers. Both produce collagen stimulation and lifting effects.
Does Ultraformer MPT hurt?
There can be mild to moderate discomfort during treatment — particularly when energy is delivered to bony areas like the jaw and chin. Most clients tolerate it well. Kristina adjusts settings based on your feedback during the session. No anaesthetic is typically needed, though a numbing cream is available if preferred.
How many sessions do I need?
Most clients see meaningful results from a single session, which makes Ultraformer MPT different from many other non-invasive treatments. Some clients choose a second session 6–12 months later to maintain or build on their results. Kristina will give you an honest assessment of what to expect for your specific skin at your consultation.
How long do results last?
Results typically appear gradually over 2–3 months as collagen production builds, and can last 12–18 months or longer. The natural ageing process continues, so results are not permanent — but a single treatment can produce improvement that holds for a significant period.
