XERF may not be suitable for individuals with:

Pregnancy or Breastfeeding: Treatment should not be performed during pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be discussed with your practitioner before treatment.

Implanted Electronic Devices: Pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators, cochlear implants or other active implanted electronic devices.

Metal Implants in the Treatment Area: Metal plates, screws, implants or other metallic material in or near the area being treated may affect suitability.

Active Skin Conditions: Open wounds, active skin infections, significant inflammation, severe dermatitis, active acne lesions or other significant skin conditions within the treatment area.

Certain Medical Conditions: Uncontrolled medical conditions, impaired healing, significant autoimmune conditions or other medical circumstances that may affect treatment safety or recovery.

Recent Procedures or Treatments: Recent surgery, injectable treatments, energy-based treatments or other procedures within the proposed treatment area should be disclosed to your practitioner prior to treatment.

Please disclose all medical conditions, medications, implants and previous cosmetic procedures during your consultation so your practitioner can determine whether XERF treatment is appropriate for you.

XERF is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment designed to deliver controlled thermal energy into different depths of the skin and underlying tissue.

XERF uses multifrequency monopolar radiofrequency technology, incorporating both 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz frequencies. This allows energy to be delivered across shallow, middle and deeper tissue layers according to the treatment area and individual treatment plan.

The controlled heating created during treatment stimulates tissue contraction and the body's natural collagen-remodelling response. Over time, this may improve the appearance of skin laxity, firmness and overall skin quality.

XERF incorporates surface cooling technology to help protect the skin and improve comfort while radiofrequency energy is delivered.

Results vary between individuals and develop progressively as collagen remodelling occurs.

• During treatment, you can expect to feel repeated sensations of warmth or heat as radiofrequency energy is delivered.
• You may also experience pressure, tingling, tenderness or temporary discomfort. Sensitivity varies between individuals.
• Cooling is delivered during treatment to help maintain comfort and protect the surface of the skin.
• Treatment time varies depending on the area or areas being treated and your individual treatment plan.
• The skin may appear slightly pink or feel warm immediately following treatment.
• XERF is a non-invasive treatment and generally does not require significant downtime. Most clients can return to normal activities following treatment.
• Improvements may develop gradually over the weeks and months following treatment as collagen remodelling occurs.
• More than one treatment may be recommended depending on your individual condition, treatment goals and response.

Possible temporary side effects may include:

• Redness or flushing of the treated area.
• Mild swelling.
• Warmth or heat within the treated area.
• Tenderness, sensitivity or discomfort.
• Tingling or altered sensation.
• Temporary skin irritation.
• Temporary tightness of the treated skin.

Less common risks and complications may include:

• Burns or blistering from excessive thermal exposure.
• Changes in skin pigmentation, including temporary or prolonged hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.
• Prolonged swelling, tenderness or altered sensation.
• Infection or delayed healing.
• Temporary textural irregularity.
• Uneven, asymmetrical or unexpected aesthetic results.
• Lack of visible improvement or a response that is less noticeable than expected.

Although uncommon, unexpected complications may occur with any energy-based treatment.

I have read and understood the information provided regarding XERF treatment and I have had the opportunity to ask questions concerning the nature and purpose of the treatment, expected outcomes, limitations, possible side effects, risks and complications.

I understand that XERF uses radiofrequency energy to create controlled heating within the tissues and that the purpose of treatment may include improvement in the appearance of skin laxity, firmness and skin quality.

I understand that individual responses to XERF treatment vary and that no specific result can be guaranteed.

I understand that improvement may occur gradually as collagen remodelling develops following treatment. The degree and timing of improvement will vary between individuals and additional treatment sessions may be recommended to achieve or maintain the desired outcome.

I understand that some individuals may experience significant improvement while others may experience only minor improvement or no noticeable improvement.

I understand that XERF is a non-invasive treatment and is not designed to produce the same result as an invasive surgical procedure.

The nature of the treatment has been explained to me. I understand that although XERF may provide benefits, all procedures involve some degree of risk. I understand that unexpected reactions or complications may occur and that no guarantee or promise has been made concerning the outcome of treatment.

I confirm that I have disclosed my medical history, current medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, implanted medical devices, metal implants, previous cosmetic procedures and any other relevant medical information to my practitioner.

I understand that undisclosed medical conditions, medications, implants or previous treatments may affect my suitability for treatment or my body's response to XERF.

I understand that my practitioner may decide not to proceed with treatment or may alter or postpone my treatment if they believe it is not appropriate or safe.

My questions regarding XERF treatment, alternatives, expected results, possible risks and complications have been answered to my satisfaction.
